In this week, we proceed our learning for topic 8 and 9
“Curriculum Implementation”. Based on this topic we discuss about how the
curriculum develop. Firstly is curriculum component which is what important
subject for students. Then, curriculum contents is what the teacher teach it
must related with the fact. It was a post modernism view knowledge as dynamic
and evolutionary not static. The knowledge results from a structuring and
reconstructing of perceived realities. Content is fact, concept, generalization,
theories which are similar to disciplined knowledge and chemistry. How to
select the content is by addressed the cognitive, social and psychological
dimensions of the individual students. The content can be organized by
knowledge organized based on theories and knowledge organized into domains. For
example, number the domain of mathematics, physics has matter and energy. The
criteria for selecting content is self-sunffiencienty, significant, interest,
utility and learn ability.
