In basic curriculum components, it must have aims, goals and objectives,
subject matter, learning experiences and evaluation. It for teach the students
about concept and skills which only one subject will be teach also tell what
the students can gain after learning it. There have a few things in Curriculum
design versus instructional design. It was sciences as a source which it was a
scientific method provides meaning for the curriculum design that means where
they can find some knowledge and ingredients for do it. This is because only
those items that can be observed and quantified should be included.
Then,
society as source which means what the other people and children needs in
curriculum agent of society. Society shows where to modify the curriculum.
Next, external and define source which means the curriculum design should be
intended. Knowledge as a source is one of prime sources of curriculum. The
learner as a source is what the students needs in subject and activity so that
they can learn by doing (cognitive research). For scope of study is many such
like theme and subtheme. But every theme it must sequences and articulation.
Lastly is about three representive curriculum which is student-centered
designing is for content and for process that have guide from the teacher.
Then, learner-centered designs are based on student lives (interests, needs and
